Dear friends,
Herewith I have the privilege of sending you an impression of the Spiritual Healing meeting of last week in Summerschool. Sattva has given an introduction and again she emphasizes how important it is every time to be aware of what we are doing during the spiritual healing ceremony and what the basic principle is of spiritual healing: “The soul, being the divine breath, purifies, revivifies and heals the instrument in which it functions”, our bodies and our souls . The purpose is: “To awaken people to a greater realization of the healing power of the divine spirit, to become more and more conscious of the divinity of our souls, of the divine Healer outside and inside ourselves”.
The theme of this Summerschool was: “Open our hearts”, and of course it is very important in spiritual healing to have opened our hearts. How would it be possible to help another person when our hearts are closed? It is the most important thing in life to be helpful for our fellow-men. But to dedicate oneself for healing work doesn’t mean negativity. It doesn’t mean attuning to the sick person, for then one draws on the condition of the patient instead of the Divine Help. Sympathy means an attunement, a feeling with, but there is a negative way and a positive way of sympathizing. In the negative way one feels the suffering, the pain, and unites in grief, but does not bring much help. In the positive way, one raises the other from sorrow, one is able to give them their better condition without taking on the lower condition. That is true healing. That is the reason why one must repeat “Towards the One” so much during the healing ceremony, and gradually attune oneself to the divine rays which are health-giving.
Keeping the heart tuned to Love, Harmony and Beauty, and making this the practice of daily life, the mind still and calm, the heart pure and open, so that it can reflect the divine Love and Light, that should be the aim of our lives.
After the talk of Sattva there was a reading from “Health and Order” (click to view HIK teaching) by Zohra. You’ll find the words as an attachment herewith.
With loving greetings from Sattva and Kafia
